Artists Wen-Hsi and Martin Harman during their artist- residency to celebrate the Lunar New Year through a creative calligraphy workshop. The event will take place on 1st February 2025, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, in Istanbul. Turkey

Originally from Taiwan, Wen-Hsi will share her Taiwanese cultural identity, focusing on the traditional "Eight Principles of Yong" in calligraphy. During the workshop, participants will use specially prepared handmade red paper, Chinese brushes, and ink to learn how to write traditional Chinese characters. These characters symbolize health, wealth, good luck, and the joy of welcoming the future.
