The exhibition is titled Coquette Cornucopia. @fringeartsbath
(My artwork involves mould-making with Royale porcelain combined with ready-made plates collected from a charity shop in England. 40 x 18 x 6 cm. 2025)
Cultural Bites explores the concept of cultural identity. Fragmented porcelain body parts on blue-and-white plates evoke both fragility and resilience. By juxtaposing bodily forms with dining objects, the work questions the boundary between appreciation and appropriation.
It reflects on how cultural practices are consumed, reinterpreted, and transformed—both personally and collectively. I’m looking forward to seeing my work on display at Walcot Chapel Arts Space from 24th May to 7th June 2025 (12:00pm to 5:30 pm ) @wenhsiharmanporcelainart
